He underwent superspeciality training in amrita kochi , their unit has  completed 1200 liver transplants &, has one of the largest series of Robotic living donor programs in the world (over 350)with atleast 3-4 liver transplants being done per week  at average of 100/year making them the fourth largest transplant program in the country. He was part of a team which completed four small bowel transplants and over 15 Simultaneous pancreas and kidney transplants.

                He has been trained in robotic procedures like Low anterior resection, abdominoperineal resections, gastrectomies, and Whipple's procedure.

He also been trained in advanced laparoscopic procedures like gastrectomy,esophagectomy(VATS), Low anterior resection, abdominoperineal resections, procedures for hernia like TEP,TARM,eTEP,IPOM Plus, component separation and Advanced HPB procedures like hepatectomies, ALPPS, whipple’s procedure.
